It was hard to find open gelaterias during the February low season, but we were referred by a waiter at Scoopit who gave excellent directions to the open branch. There was a limited, but interesting range of flavours available. Unfortunately, tasting is not allowed, frustrating, but understandable. Maybe some gelaterias should charge a set rate to taste 5 flavours so we can make informed choices- if not too busy. Here you have the option of splitting one scoop o to two for a slightly higher price- a worthwhile option if you are curious. I loved the coffee flavour and the chocolate was very good too. Llevo yendo varios años a Tavira y es mi heladería favorita. Van cambiado sabores y tienen muy etiquetadas las intolerancias. Comento el caso concreto de un acompañante que pidió información sobre helados sin gluten, y además de que están bien etiquetados, utilizaron para hacer las dos bolas dos cucharas diferentes que lavaron expresamente, también cogieron el helado de la zona virgen de atrás de la cubeta... en fin muy cuidadosos.

Fantastic and yet far beyond fantastic Icecream. Ridiculously tasty, fresh and not even expensive. 2 scoops 3,25€ 3 scoops 4,30€. All natural ingredients; no dyes, no artificial preservatives. To die for. Must visit if near town of Tavira on the Algarvecoast.

Not that there's much competition but we loved your fresh gelato and new flavours for us like fig and honey with ginger and thyme. Would have given you 5 stars but for the plastic spoons. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good service and in a convenient location. Ice cream was fairly average unfortunately. We felt like it was lacking sugar, dairy or something as the taste was a little bland.
