I can't say much since I've only been once, but the eggplant Parmesan was outstanding. The lasagna? Easily one of the best I've ever tasted—both in the U.S. and throughout my travels in Italy; it was that impressive. The bread they serve is absolutely addictive. Boston is known for having one of the best Italian food scenes in the country, as evidenced by the long wait times at many restaurants. I would have never thought that Revere could compete in that arena. If it weren't for a friend whose parents grew up in the area and recently discovered this gem, I wouldn’t have found my way here. My wife and I were staying in a local hotel for the night and selected Demaino's for dinner. It's exactly what you would expect from a quaint, comfortable, no frills neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food was great as was the service very friendly and helpful. I did take a star off to give it 4 simply because the decor is old, outdated, and tired. And that's okay if your real quest is a good meal in a comfortable neighborhood eatery. My meal Chicken Verdicchio was the best of that style I have ever had and bought the chef a glass of wine as a complement. As for the food, those who ordered spaghetti found it just okay, while one person who had the shrimp Alfredo proclaimed it was the best. My husband and I both ordered appetizers; he chose the wings, which he said were dry (by the way, they don’t serve ranch here). I ordered shrimp scampi, but all I received were four grilled shrimp on a bed of rice—it didn’t resemble shrimp scampi at all. We were hoping for an Italian dining experience, but I felt like I could have gotten the same quality of food at IHOP.

Hidden Jewel for over 90 years. I'm selfishly glad that people think they only have delicious Italian food. But their seafood is off the charts outstanding too. Strong local clientele. 5th generation family business that's been consistently successful. Do yourself a favor, try it at least one time. You won't be disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora

Demainos is a childhood staple of mine. Been a while since coming in but the nostalgic Bella Bocca Veal was still on the menu and it was exactly how i remembered it. Demainos is the way italian food should be served. Get a taste of old revere and feel like you are in a sopranos episode here for dinner!

I love this restaurant! Always fresh tasting food, especially the stuffed calamari! I order it every time, and it never disappoints. Excellent service, very casual and friendly at. I highly recommend DeMaino's to anyone who enjoys real Italian food!

Excellent tripe. Place is a little dated but good spot if you want traditional red sauce Italian food. Nothing fancy.
