Saturday night dinner. The restaurant is packed and LOUD. However, we were expecting that. For those playing at home, there could not possibly be any more tables squeezed into the restaurant which makes for a loud experience, where one is often bumped. Although if you can either get past this, or go at a non peak time the food is good.I would not usually go to a restaurant specialising in steak and burgers, however the salmon and flake stone grill sounded amazing. Tonight, our orders were taken in a reasonable amount of time. However no drinks were offered at any point. Also, the menu currently on the website is incorrect. I was really looking forward to having the salmon option on the stone...
A small group of us visited on a weekday night for desserts, luckily our smart thinking friends had booked a table, as the place was packed. It's actually the first thing that hits you when you walk in - the amount of people in a smallish area. I wouldn't describe this place as a restaurant it is really more a cafe dining feel. This is the place for the 'freak shake' ($12.50), and they certainly look good with how they are presented. I chose from the dessert menu, selecting the ricotta filled doughnuts which were accompanied with chocolate dipping sauce. Have been coming to this place for a few years as I stop in the hotel above. This time I had a burger and fries so I asked for some mayo the waitress came with a very small amount in a dish . After the meal I received the bill only to be shocked to find that the mayo cost two dollars. Never in the 120 countries I have visited in my life have I ever been charged for mayo please how stupid do you have to be. After saying that I did not think I should be charged the waitress just laughed and walked away. Food good service and attitude totally discusting.
I had the steak grill, Tasmanian grass-fed eye fillet 300g, marinara sauce and meatballs made of beef and chicken. The meat was tender and well-seasoned. The mushroom and peppercorn sauces paired nicely with it. The pasta dish was average and lighter than expected, but that was my mistake for not reading the menu properly. However, I felt like the pasta was a bit understated. The chicken and beef meatballs were delicious and the sauce complemented them well. I will definitely be returning.

I recently dined at Theazzis and can confidently say that their pasta is unmatched. However, I was disappointed with my steak yesterday as I had ordered it medium rare but it was well done. While this may seem minor, the texture of the steak was tough and not enjoyable. The restaurant staff was friendly and the sticky date dessert was delicious. I was a bit let down when we were asked to leave after an hour despite having made a reservation, but overall I would definitely return.
Great spot for families and larger groups. I’m not quite sure how to describe this place, it reminds me of good pub food. I had the chicken souvlaki and popcorn chicken. The meals were larger than I was expecting. They were tasty and satisfying. Would return.
Love their freakshakes, best I've had before as they are not too overpowering and sweet so you can actually enjoy them. Service is fast, restaurant is a bit pricey for what it is but its tasty
Hostess told me I could only have table for half hour because of reservations and kicked me off as warned, so did not have time to finish expensive drink. Highly overpriced.
