Denny's - Reservar una mesa

Never got past the Please Wait to be Seated sign. We stood there about 10 minutes waiting for the start of service while watching the staff laugh and talk on their phone, as the other person working told us that they were closed. This was around 10:30pm, which made me wonder this: 1- WHY aren 't these hours of operation POSTED for guests to see? 2- Why were the entrances STILL open if you were, if fact, CLOSED for the night....and 3- Why was it so funny to them that we weren 't going to be served? They actually didn 't want to give any explanation or give us the closing hours. One girl just walked away from us, while the one doing the talking just kept that smirk on her face. Needless to say...
