This Denny 's is short staffed, and the team is doing what they can to keep things going. Service is slow, but our server did check in with us several times to make sure we knew we hadn 't been forgotten. It was pretty busy, and I 'm guessing the happyhour combined with proximity to a retirement community might have contributed to it being busy. It wasn 't bad, but it was avery long visit, since there seemed to only be one person to take care of all the patrons. Be patient, and it 's a fine place todine.
I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The parking situation was also great, which is always a plus. One of the highlights for me was the outdoor, yet enclosed, smoking area. It allowed us to enjoy a cigarette with our meal, reminiscent of days gone by, without disturbing any non-smokers. I’m not sure when I’ll return to California, but when I do, Denny's Seal Beach will definitely be on my must-visit list!
My wife and I had a short chat with the manager, Charlie, about the outstanding quality of both the service and food at this Denny's. We had a delightful dinner and I was genuinely impressed by the attentive service and tasty meals. We intend to come back often, maybe even several times a day. The entire staff was amazing!
It?s always a great when Angel is your waiter! He?s attentive, friendly, courteous and not to mention incredibly funny! We love coming to this Seal Beach Dennys for his excellent service. We had a group of 11 and he always made sure we had what we needed.Food was great as always! Thank you Angel!

OMG!!! Forgot how much I love Denny?s. Haven?t been back since moving out of the States. Back visiting and had to stop by. Pancakes out of this world. Hash browns were nice and crispy. Huge portions. Had this almost every week as hangover supper at 4am during college days. Love it
By far the best Denny’s we’ve ever been to. Great service and friendly staff. The restaurant is clean and fast service. The manager Charlie checked on us several times and made sure we didn’t need anything. Thank you.
This is a 4 star Dennys. Dennys has lost the original home cooking style that made them special as now, like many restaurant chains, they're corporate packaged one-size-fits-all. But, this is a good Dennys.
Wow, what a fantastic experience! Our server, Josh, was incredibly friendly and professional, creating a wonderful atmosphere. He made sure we had everything we needed before the game.
