Der Backer Ruetz - Reservar una mesa

This is a beautiful self-service Swiss/Austrian bakery that is open on Sunday afternoon – a big plus for us looking for refreshments after our bike tour. A nice selection of cakes and breads; hot and cold drinks as well as hearty snacks are available. There is also free Wi-Fi and the lady at the counter was very friendly. There were a lot of wasps that help the cake in the cooler – but hey! At least the pesky things were not disturbing the customers! A very pleasant stop, sitting on the street in the old town on a Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful bakery bonus that it was open on a Sunday afternoon. Very pleasant to sit in the street and watching life by. Also Wi-Fi access. There is a wide range of Swiss and Austrian cakes and pastries as well as breads and other snacks available. It is self-service, but the staff is friendly and helpful. There were some wasps that were refined on the cake in the cooler, which was a little set, but hey! At least they had no worries about the customers at the tables!

There are many good bakeries in the area, however Ruetz excels both in break as well as fine baking. The seasonal krapfen - a filled type of donut, are outstanding.

I had pumpkins and paste. It is a friendly placd with fresh product. You can here with several types of breakfast.
