Especially: Book absolutely! Excellent Japanese food. Both the sushi (so good I could not experience it in Germany), the Okonomiyaki (better than in the Ueno Park 2008) and the Gyoza, which I strongly recommend. The dessert was not too sweet and tasty. If one does not suspect it from the outside and it is also more of simple devices from the inside, the inner values represented by the friendly, informative and authentic hosts, whose heart also strikes in and for Japan. The price level is best for the quality offered. We like to come back and recommend with full conviction. We look forward to other Japanese dishes.
Thank you so spontaneously that you enjoy this culinary highlight. We went here and had only read on the Internet that is open. On site we had to find out that you can only eat there with pre-registration and also be closed at the end of the month. The owners go back to Japan. Nevertheless, we kindly asked if the possibility was that we had something to eat and actually received very kindly. The sushi was world class, the most important foods a dream and the dessert was just as excellent. We wish we had arrived here years ago. For the owners everything good for the future!
I was in the Klosterhof several times and it's just an experience. The decor reminds of some of the living room of the grandmother, but the hospitality is unique, the knowledge about the foods used as well as the Japanese culture and history are again amazing and interesting. It is original Japanese cooked, best foods are used and placed much value on authenticity. A perfect price for money. Predicate: Absolutely recommended!
It was a Japanese fireworks for the palate!! Super authentic, tasty and as I-tails: incredibly competent and dear owners with knowing and knowledge in all what is offered and prepared!Without much ChiChi but for that with a look into Japanese culture and the direct attention for the guest- also for children simply great! Very competent owner with advice and deed. Ambience would have to be renewed (outside), but still very delicious food!!!! Unfortunately, we had to learn that at the end of the year is over. It's a shame there's gonna be something urging here. We wish the owners all the best in the New Old Home.
