Have used this restaurant for over 30 years and always found food and service to be excellent. However, on my recent visit my lamb, Rogan Josh contained vegetables and a very small amount of meat. Happy for prices to go up, but do not expect the quality to go down. Extremely sad if this is the way forward. Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian, and never struggles to find something good to eat here. Wide range of cauliflower and potato, curries, as well as vegetarian options of all the popular favourites.

We ordered a takeaway last week and it was awful! For 4 popadoms, a portion of onion bhajis, (2), 3 mains, 3 rice and a peshwari nan, it cost £69!! Wtaf??? TAKE AWAY THAT WE HAD TO COLLECT!! My husband’s plate was swimming in water, the rice had no taste whatsoever! My Rogan josh had no flavour at all! My son’s vegan curry was also tasteless!! I regret to say I will never step foot in here or order a takeaway again!! Food: 1

Lovely restaurant. The manager is very attentive the staff is well mannered and professional. Not cheap, but the food is excellent, hot and plentiful. Our meal for 2 came to £45 which included the pickle tray, main course and a bottle of Cobra each. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Fantastic food, can’t fault it. Service is excellent. Always top pint of Cobra on tap. Been many times and it’s always been spot on, won’t go anywhere else in the area for a curry. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Waiters haven't got a clue. One tried to tell me naan bread is gluten free because it's "just made with plain flour
