We ordered three Big Boys, two fries, one onion ring, a Walleye platter, and three hot dogs, which came to $98. I'm not sure if they have new ownership or if they altered the recipes, but the quality has definitely changed. When I asked for tartar sauce for the Big Boys, I received the standard tartar sauce you find at any fish restaurant. They claim to have the Frisch's tartar sauce, but it's nowhere near what it used to be at their original location and is nothing like the authentic version from up north. For those who know, dipping fries in their sauce was a highlight, but sadly, that’s not an option now. We left feeling disappointed. It wasn't just the atmosphere; the changes they made...

The Coney dogs here are just as good as those from American Coney Island Leo's, my old favorites. Everything, including the Stroh's beer, Faygo pop, and Vernor's ginger ale, comes from Detroit. This is a true Coney dog experience: a fantastic bun, authentic Detroit dogs topped with mustard, onions, and Coney chili—no relish, ketchup, or tomatoes allowed, sorry Chicago! It's simply superb. The restaurant is filled with Detroit sports memorabilia, and my favorite piece is a signed, framed poster of Darren McCarty lifting Lord Stanley's Cup. I often run into fellow Detroiters enjoying their Coney dogs and chatting about our hometown. I only make it back to Detroit a couple of times a year, so...

Update regarding the owner’s comment: Thank you for pointing that out! I would like to clarify that while the drink prices are the same as at the previous location, they used to include refills. Additionally, the atmosphere at the old sit-down restaurant felt very different compared to the current "corner store" self-service setup, which makes the higher prices feel less justified.

We’ve been missing Coney dogs since moving from Michigan! My husband really prefers his dogs well done (almost burnt!), so we’re heading back today to ask the staff to put them back on the grill for him. Other than that, we loved everything—the Faygo pop, cream puff, and hot fudge were all delicious! Reserva una mesa ahora

My husband and I visited this afternoon and were informed by a woman who barely spoke English that the owners had left. The convenience store was open, but there was no Coney Island available. I hope this helps others avoid making a special trip there like we did.

I enjoyed some excellent chili dogs, and the fries were nice and crispy. To finish off the meal, I indulged in a Sanders hot fudge sundae. Everything was delicious and brought back memories of Detroit.

There are only two places I know of in Pinellas County that serve Chinese Almond Chicken, and it’s available only on Mondays and Tuesdays. This one is definitely the better of the two.

We had the walleye for dinner, but the atmosphere was disappointing. It doesn’t compare at all to the location in Palm Harbor. We won’t be returning. The food was just okay. Reserva una mesa ahora

It turns out the videos and photos of this place are misleading. Just a heads up: it's actually a convenience store that sells food, not a sit-down restaurant.
