We were passing by this restaurant and decided to try it. Lots of easy paid street parking, easy accessible by metro and the ambiance was nice, clean and big place with comfy chairs. The service was okay, even the place was almost empty at that time I had to keep asking for the next thing. Not a deal breaker for me but just makes me wonder what will happen when the place is at full capacity.Their menu has a lot of options, making it hard to decide what to eat, so we ended up having some paneer pakoras and a thali. The pakoras were very good. I usually order "mild" or "not spicy" dishes ( But always get food too spicy for my taste, except this time), finally a restaurant that made my food as ordered. We really enjoyed the thick sauce of the butter chicken, the rice had a good taste as well and the naan sooo soft. I was surprised that the price of the thali included a drink (mango juice, lassi or soft drink) and a dessert (gulab jamun). Very good pricing for the portions.We also had some tea and barfi and let me tell you this was the best barfi I've tried in Montrèal, it had the perfect consistency and flavor.

We were little hesitant when we reached the restaurant at night. We were the only ones in the restaurant. But when our food arrived, we were thrilled. Everything we ordered was perfect. I had one of the best sayings, windshield wipers and even the Daal. I will definitely eat again when I am the city. My favourite for Indian food in Montreal. I have spent many years in India, and Dev comes closest to the authentic north Indian experience. The ambiance is simply, but it is not crowded like other Indian restaurants in Montreal.

Consistently good food. Good variety of both veg and non-veg. Service is good. Servers are nice and quite polite Plain decor.

This friendly, family run restaurant was very willing to advise and adjust spiciness of food. The food was delicious!
