I went out with my friends for Sunday dinner at a restaurant. The menu options were a bit limited, with only four appetizers and four desserts, as well as three roast options and a few other dishes. The food was good and the service was adequate, neither exceptional nor terrible. However, the prices were quite high compared to what was advertised on their website. The Sunday menu on the website showed prices at £19.50 for two courses or £24 for three, but in reality, it was £21.50 for two courses and £26 for three. My friends and I came for Sunday lunch yesterday, we hadn’t booked so sat in the cosy bar area by a roaring fire perfect on a winters day. The service was excellent friendly and attentive staff. The food came quickly and was delicious....The roast beef was cooked to perfection. Good value as portion sizes big. Lovely dessert options too. To note, the bathrooms were immaculately clean too! Will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful weekend staying in one of the two rooms we booked with friends. The rooms were of a high standard with comfortable beds and clean linens. We enjoyed the view of the greenery from the front of the rooms. The dinner we had was excellent, with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast the next morning was also delicious. This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning.

Lovely restaurant in great position that had a good wide choice of dishes. Good quality food beautifully presented and lovely staff. Easy to park if can’t get in at Yarm High Street, so worth popping up the hill here! Zero Pilsner beer very nice Slightly...more expensive but worth it.

Beautiful gastro Pub with Accommodation. The bar has a welcoming open fire. Restaurant spacious, lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. We stayed overnight and had a great nights sleep very welcoming room. Highly recommend.
Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch and faultless service. It was very busy at 5 pm and just a great experience. We will be back again soon thank you

Devonport serves as both an outstanding restaurant and a welcoming local pub. The staff are fantastic, always friendly and helpful.
