A Mobile Classic, my grandparents used to go out on dates here back in the 50’s. Dew Drop just celebrated 100 years. Truly such a cute diner- the food has always been spectacular! I ordered the Double cheeseburger which comes with chili on it- so good! And I got a half order of onion rings and fries- because who doesn’t love a little bit of both?!? Their soup of the day was Shrimp and Corn soup and it was really good- the flavors were on point. The staff are always speedy and friendly. You’re able to get in and out pretty quickly- but note majority of the time they are pretty packed so you may have to wait for a table a time or two. Even though hotdogs (or other forms of mystery meat) are not my thing, I had to try DDI 's signature dish. I had been warned about their unnatural red color but was able to ignore it and enjoy the well dressed tube steak. It 's savory. Onion rings are the real thing, hot and delicious. The gumbo is quite good better than you 'd expect from a diner. Rice is served on the side. I 'm told everything on the menu is good, and don 't doubt it. The atmosphere is old fashioned diner, and the service is attentive and quick. Local artists ' works (for sale) are displayed on the walls nice. Ignore the Sorry, we 're closed sign, unless the door is locked. Then you can believe it.

Service was great but red/pink hotdogs are awful. Husband only ate 1/4 of his burger and threw it away. Onion rings weren't cooked thoroughly. Highly disappointed.

The chili cheeseburgers are the best!!!! So are the chili dogs. The service was great and friendly. I will definitely visit again

Cool restaurant ! Great hot dogs ! I went there when I was a kid over 40 years ago and it’s still great !

The white fish special was wonderful. The sweet potato casserole was one of the best I've had.

BLT had the worst pieces of bacon on it. The hot dog was just ok.
