We visited Saint Nazaire for just one night. Using TripAdvisor the reviews on this place seem to be parametric with the balance being at the good end. We decided to try it and we're pleased that we did. We were met by the proprietor who offered us a glass of wine of our general choosing (red/white/sparkling etc.) - why anyone would believe this to be complimentary is a little odd and naive. The wine was wonderful. We were asked if we wanted to eat or try another different wine. We opted for the latter. The Di 20 was an unexpected delight, recommended to us by receptionist at our hotel. As it was our first visit to St. Nazaire we were at a loss where to eat. From the minute we walked into Di 20 we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, it was obvious we were in for a good evening. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff and superb food and large selection of wines. The owner, Alain Simon, was present , a very knowledgeable and humorous gentleman and a veritable walking encyclopedia on wine and wine production. Great food, great wine, great company. If you visit St Nazaire, you should make a visit to Di 20 a priority.
We visited the Di 20 Wine Bar in September 2015 for lunch. A great welcome (French or English as you prefer). We started with salmon and leek quiche/ mushroom tart. Our mains were slow cooked lamb/ veal stew, both served with potato Dauphinoise - beautifully seasoned and flavoursome. Finally a café gourmand, all of it washed down with some very agreeable wine, perfect temperature and very friendly service. The Di 20 is a bit off the main streets in St Nazaire but is really very good and certainly well worth a visit. Three courses and two glasses of wine will set you back 30-35 euros pp.I can recommend this place.

Friendly atmosphere, delicious food and the wine selection is spectacular!!The owner of Di 20 Wine Bar comes to every customer, greets and explains about each glass of wine he serves. Worth driving all this way just for super here.What a find. Would recomend to anyone looking for very good wine + light food. The Beef Stew followed by cheese washed down with 3 reds & a brandy. We now have a boot full of wine to take home.Excellent will definately be back Thank you
very good cuisine, lots of flavors, I took a lot of fun while enjoying the lamb and dwarf cake. it is good to know that this restaurant is a wine cellar and that from the beginning you have served a French wine from which you must discover the origin.
This place is delicious and a must go to._It's around 8-11€ for a burger, beers will run you €3-4._Thr burgers are amazing.
Great little place to have a quick bite! Great selection of burgers for the meat eaters and the veggies :).
