My husband and I decided to have a nice lunch today and chose to go to DiMaggio's Trattoria in Port Washington. We had heard that they had a wide variety of options and prices to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised! Dave ordered linguini puttanesca and a glass of Monteplciano while I opted for a pizza. The food was delicious. Our waiter, Phillipe, was very friendly, and the owner, Eddie, was also welcoming. We initially didn't plan on having dessert, but Eddie insisted that we try his wife's freshly baked chocolate cake. Found this hidden jewel because I couldn?t get in the restaurant I planned to visit. The Penne a la vodka turned out to be the highlight of my day. It?s the best pasta I?ve ever had in the past 3 years and it definitely showed me the true form of comfort food. I?ve never found myself smiling nonstop from the second pasta was served. Definitely recommend the pasta. Tiramisu was not too sweet, super moist and flavorful, perfect match with the extra foamy cappuccino served with perfect amount of ground cinnamon on top. Do not miss out on the dessert!!
DiMaggio?s Trattoria in Port Washington is a best kept secret in fine restaurant dining. The food is truly delicious, the service is outstanding, the ambiance is charming. This restaurant was by far the BEST Italian food I have had in NYC and Long Island. The portions were perfect, the taste was delicious, the timing of the food coming out amazing. From start to finish the experience we had was spot on perfect. The wait staff and the owner were also very nice. We will definitely be coming back to DiMaggio's.

My wife and I had a wonderful time there celebrating our wedding anniversary. Eddie (one of the owners) and the staff treated us so well we decided to leave a review. The food is very good too, specially the pasta. The cannoli (dessert) was phenomenal. We have only great things to say about this place. Give them a try!
Came here on a strong recommendation of a friend! Boy, was this place amazing! Authentic and everyone was so hospitable. I flew in from LA for an event and this was the first stop. The food was spectacular! Take some time to see the town too. A real charmer. Thank you Ed for your kindness!
We just found this place for the 1st time on saturdy night but I am pretty sure it has been there forever. We received a warm greeting from the chef and maitre D as we entered and were quickly seated, the food is absolutely amazing. Looks like they also do a booming take out business
Never in my life I had such an amazing calfshaup! And it's not just the calf. You can't go wrong here. From pizza to plentiful main dishes, the food is fantastic. In addition, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff are never disappointed. Recommend and eat every chance I get here.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is romantic and cousy, the music was fitting, the service was fantastic, they were very attentive. The food was great and my favorite were the homemade chocolate cake and the sangria. My husband favorite was the meat lasagna.
The best baked shells and cakes. And the best staff ever!! So friendly and accommodating! Come back here!
