I've already eaten here because I bought a dinner voucher from travelzu. without this it would have been an expensive meal for what they get. the service was always very slow and it could be out of the lack of personal, but even the other few paints I had eaten here, it was also slow before the pandemic. the personal was nice. you eat well over all, but has rejected a bit of my previous experience. Maybe it's just a hit or something for me. but a thing is annoying that they calculate for chips and salsa. in the rule this is a stack free appetizer from a Mexican restaurant, but now they charge $6 for it. another thing that I feel is a torn, is her brisket empanada. it tastes ok, but definitiw...

The hamachi appetizer was delicious with a balance of flavors, and then it was downhill from there. Service was extremely slow we ran the risk of running out of time on our 2 hour parking meter during our 4 course dinner. The buffalo cauliflower was solid though probably predictably boring. The prawns were overcooked and therefore chewy. The chimichurri steak was tasty but echoed the flavors of the hamachi, which seemed strange. The chicken chimichanga was forgettable and not helped by the fact it arrived lukewarm. The churros were heavy on the cinnamon sugar and dry. All staff was cordial and portions were generous, but that wasn't enough to make up for the missteps.
dia de campo really needs help in managing their service. we sat and no server ever checked us, but they checked with the tables next to us that sat after us. these tables also received their drinks and eat long before us. At one point we asked the manager why we were ignored and he took our order. others have checked us all night, but we never knew who our server was. the food was just like that. Some tacos came and they were actually cold. I really hope that this place brings her to life.
I haven’t been to Dia del Campo since they opened and was looking forward to this meal. First they were out of the fish so we decided on the two tacos plate. Ordered the seafood dip which was delicious. Tacos came out with cold rice and beans. Our fault for not saying anything to the waitperson. But they weren’t busy so don’t understand why food was cold. Very disappointed with the food. Can’t help but compare to better places like Guerilla Tacos. Won’t be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora
First: the al pastor was fantastic. Overall: we’re glad we tried it, we won’t be coming back. Staffing kinks are many, service was noticeably inconsistent, i.e., multiple employees asking how it’s going within the first five minutes, gone-poof-of-smoke for the rest of the time (had to get up to ask for hot sauce and then the check). Music was painfully middle-aged-white-guy unoriginal: Stevie Wonder Guns N Roses Beatles. Sure it’s Hermosa Beach, but c’mon…
Too quiet. Restaurant was empty, no music playing. They ran out of crispy tacos, the entire reason we came in. Food was ok, nothing special. Won’t be coming back. Lots of better options nearby.
We took our friends who were visiting and had delicious meal! Everyone was very happy with what the orders. The drinks were great and service the best! We will def go again.
1.5 hours to wait for dinner. then the food came out cold. a terrible service. manager gave only 10% comp. the restaurant was understated. Reserva una mesa ahora
