Diamond Palace Chinese Restaurant

Went to this restaurant on a Thursday night with no other patrons we were the only 2 at this place and we went as friends highly recommended it to us. We ordered the spare ribs as a entree and when this was brought the meat smelt stale and off putting we returned it to her and said she can make a fresh one which confirmed it was left over from days ago or in the fridge for a week or so, we declined. They brought out the Singapore noodles, special fried rice, beef with black bean and lemon chicken all were not fresh all the meats in the noodles and rice were so dry and the black bean beef was also stale we paid for the meal served but did not enjoy it at all so I suggest you avoid this place...

Service was good. Cold water tasted a bit odd. Spring rills were a good size but overcooked. Prawns with seasonal vegetables was said to be lovely. Sizzling beef was also said to be good. Fried rice was average. If I ever return I will order the prawn veg dish. Meal sizes were good. We did not have dessert.

I have been going to Diamond Palace for many years and, unlike some restaurants over time, the food quality has never lost it's quality. I have eaten most meals on the menu and have never been disappointed. The prices are also very reasonable. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Attended dinner here tonight for the first time since the change of owners. My partner, friend and her partner ordered around 6pm but didn’t get our food until 6.40pm! We waited 40mins! entrees came after mains? Defiantly think the service has gone down hill!

Attended with 7 others, Very busy staff excellent and very helpful with different choices on menu which is very large and variety. Meals excellent and value for money. Service prompt. Will definately return
