Dickey's Barbecue Pit

This is the 4th time I?ve ordered from this place. First two times sucked! Third time was awesome. Burnt ends, sliced brisket, and pulled pork were excellent. Good crispy waffle fries. Disgusting, inedibly salty creamed spinach. Just okay baked beans. This most recent time, the brisket burnt ends are just a few actual burnt ends and a bunch of tiny pieces of chopped brisket slices. 1 lb of sliced beef brisket is $21.00 1 lb of brisket burnt ends is $27.00 So I feel taken on having ordered the burnt ends and instead got chopped up slices of brisket. I ordered through DoorDash, and when I called to report that a third of my order was missing, I felt like my concern was met with rudeness. I also want to advise caution when adding items to your order. I added six corn muffins for an extra $6.00, which meant I did not receive the eight dinner rolls included with the XL family pack I had paid for. I was informed that this is their policy. Additionally, the baked beans were far worse than anything from a can. I echo the sentiments of other reviews that the food is excessively spiced and salted. It's one thing to make a mistake with an order; it's another to not acknowledge the error. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt it was important...

Clean with friendly staff but I had the most bland pork sandwich imaginable. I thought it would be seasoned or cooked with sauce but nope. The meat was fine but the only option available at the time was to dump barbecue sauce on it. Put some seasonings on your food people! They also got my order wrong but mistakes happen. No big deal. The worst thing of all was they were playing country music in there. We're in South Jersey, not Kentucky, mmmkay?

This was truly a disappointing barbecue experience. I didn’t even realize this was a chain until now. I ordered the two-meat platter, which came with ribs (just okay), marinated chicken (dry and tough), mac and cheese (definitely seemed pre-packaged or microwaved), and BBQ beans (not sure what to make of those). We ordered through EzCater for a birthday celebration. Our order was confirmed within 24hrs, delivery showed up 10 minutes early and everything was packed perfectly. The food was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. There were no leftovers at the end of the night. Would definitely recommend

The brisket was excellent: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The kielbasa sausage was also very tender. The smoked baked beans and green beans were delicious and well-seasoned. The smoked chicken and ribs were incredibly flavorful, with the meat falling off the bone.

Dickey's is one of the top local restaurants in the city. The brisket is incredibly tender, and the sauces are fantastic. I highly recommend the creamy spinach and onion tumblers as side dishes! Plus, you get free soft serve ice cream.
