Similar to another review we can across this place for being open late to grab some food while staying at the hotel Ibis. The hotel suggested another restaurant but even at 9pm that place was packed. So we found Dickworz. It's a neighborhood pub filled with locals. Service was polite but a slight communication issue with English. Beers were cheap and cold. The menu was limited with a few pork steak dishes that we weren't to sure about the cooking methods so we stuck with sandwiches. These things were huge! The bread was literally half a focaccia loaf with salami tomatoes cheese slices and mayo (a little too much mayo for my liking) and it came with a salad for €5,50. We order a portion for f...
Este fue mi primer viaje a Kelsterbach y es justo decir que las primeras impresiones no eran geniales. Sin embargo, si pasas un poco de tiempo en Tripadvisor, puedes encontrar algunas gemas pequeñas como este lugar. Estábamos buscando en algún lugar para un par de ... cervezas después del trabajo y ya habíamos hecho planes para la cena en otro lugar. Zum Treffpunkt también vale la pena una visita. Llegamos a nuestro alrededor y fuimos los únicos clientes. Sin embargo, recibimos un saludo cálido y agarramos un asiento en el patio al sol. Caminamos aquí desde el hotel Ibis en Kelsterbach y tuvimos una comida maravillosa con una gran cerveza alemana Pilsner. El Paprika Schnitzel era delicioso, al igual que la carne de cerdo a la parrilla, y ambos se servían con una ensalada y las fritas de Pommes. Es una barra de restaurante local y ... estaba lleno de personas del vecindario. Yo hablo bien alemán e hice todo el trabajo por nuestro grupo, así que no tengo idea de si los trabajadores hablan inglés. Todos eran muy amables, y definitivamente haríamos aquí de nuevo.
Staying for one night at IBIS Hotel and were not impressed with there restaurant options. By chance wandered in to this little pub. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Beer was good and service was pleasant. Has the appearance of a sports ba but food was great. Not a huge menu but several pork dishes. A chicken dish and beef steak as well. Out if the way spot but great for folks staying in hotels without a decent restaurant... I would recommend it.
We were staying at the IBIS hotel and found this local restaurant just a 5 minute walk away. We had two pleasant meals here, one after the flight into Frankfurt and one the night before we flew out. We returned because of the good food and good vibes. You can sit on the patio or inside. The portions are generous. Good salads, excellent meat, nice beer and smiles from the wait staff. Very enjoyable both times.
I don't remember how many years I come to this Restaurant / Pub / Bar, I think nearly from the beginning and I always enjoyed it, even I come alone because Krusti and Andrea always take care of you, always funny and many jokes. So now I am far away but it's a must for me to say hello when I come to Germany. The best Chili Con Carne but not always available.
Good food, home made . Restaurant is a typical German bar. Food range is limited but guess all is something to recommend. Don't forget to taste their Apfelwein. Range of drinks us good. Service is fast , attentive and friendly. Prices are average or below of that. No wifi . Next to the ibis hotel airport Frankfurt. Recommended. Menu prices s bilingual
This is a great neighborhood bar & grill which was within walking distance of our Ibis Hotel. Had a great evening with the locals , a huge serving of food , and draft beer. It has a limited menu but everything was fresh and great. Certainly worth the money for our last night in Germany and convenient to our hotel and the airport. Would recommend.
