Die Insel - Reserva de mesa

We are asking for a vegan meal and the waiter refused our wish in a not acceptable way. We insisted in asking the cook if it could not be possible, the get a plate of vegetables or some potatoes, but we were refused again - no chance! Then we ordered a plate of salads. The salads we brougt without any dressing, we had to ask, to get vinaigre, oil, salt and pepper to make our own dressings to the salads.Result: Arrogant waiters and arrogat kitchen!(In St. Peter-Ording in every other restaurant, we visited, doesn't matter if we paid 12 € or 50 € for a meal, it was really no problem to get vegan food!)

A very attractive looking place, we stopped for a drink and sat in a Strandkorb with fleeces over our knees to keep warm. Staff friendly and efficient. We ordered an espresso macchiato and a herbal tea along with cheesecake and an orange creme brûlée. All delicious and beautifully presented.

A Young Team is Running the restaurant. This adds to the Romantic fresh Look. The Food is very well prepared and tastes very good. Especially i would like to recommend the soups. Inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated, with a subtle rusticality. Very suitable for couples.

We had a very nice dinner in the Insel.They have an extensive menu (including some burgers) but being near the North Sea, we went for the seafood.All what was served was fresh, tasty and well cooked.Efficient and friendly service, good value for money. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is not a gourmet place, but very nice for what they offer. Local food, Burger & Currywurst. The wine we tasted (Sauvignon Blanc) was a nice one. When you look for place with local food you should visit this place. The service was excellent!

Nice restaurant with a beautiful outside area. The food was good the service was friendly and quick. They asked several times if everything was fine. As I don't eat carbs they adapted the menu as requested. The family dog was welcome!

Went there with a party of two nicely sitting outside, staff was friendly taking orders for drinks but didn't show up again so we couldn't order food, so don't know about that, otherwise just standard

This cafe has outdoor seating with a difference - wicker chairs that shelter you from the wind. Enjoyed a macchiato, orange creme brûlée, herbal tea and kasekuchen. Great food and friendly service. Reserva una mesa ahora

Very nice experience, you can eat and drink in the standkorb. Food simple but good. In the center of the town. Service just ok.
