Family dinner outing in search of a great steak led us to this restaurant which was out of the way from the strip of other restaurants. No high chairs, probably because it's more of an adult-type restaurant. Although, they did offer choices on...a kid's menu! (Typical chicken nuggets and fries type). Beware that the kids menu numbers are the SAME as the numbers of the side dishes. Be sure to specify what you want. Die Kleine Rosteria sounds pretty Italian, but is in reality more like a fusion kitchen with elements from Germany, Italy and European cuisine in general. Located in one of the small streets in Weiden, it looks a bit inconspicuous, but on an ordinary weekday the...place was pretty full, and it seemed to me that there were quite a number of repeat customers. Most likely it is advisable to book a table in advance, as it is a fairly small place (around seats at the most as I recall). I chose the grilled lamb chops with grilled vegetables, as I like lamb very much, but too seldom makes it at home. My favorite place in town for steak and wine! Absolutely delicious meals and the steaks are always cooked to perfection. Great international wine selection as well. You won't ever be disappointed going here for dinner. The service is fantastic, friendly, and very accommodating. I would...recommend making a reservation as the venue is small, there's not a lot of tables. Definitely worth the wait if you want a high quality dinner.

we were beautiful more often in the small rosteria and always very satisfied. the steaks are the best in grazing and circle. always grilled on the point and of best quality. good wine offer and also the beer are well selected. very friendly service and in the summer you sit comfortably in the schulgasse. highly recommended.
A recommendation for steak and wine lover. Very delicious and well served steak. International Wine selection is good. The serving personal is very friendly and always anxious to help you for the right selection. Space availability is limited, reservation for bigger groups is helpful. Thumb...up!
