We have been guests of the “The Pyramid” restaurant for many years and the welcome notice is that the service staff has changed. And this caused problems during our visit: The waitress needed some time to bring us the drink (cologne), but after memory it came immediately. We had to explain to the waitress how a steak “Medium rare” should look, she didn’t know. We had ordered a salad with yoghurt sauce, but she brought a salad with Vinaigrette. Explanation: I had ordered it in the kitchen, but the chefs did it wrong. No excuse. But the salad was then replaced. Wir waren auf Empfehlung eines Bekannten dort. Nie wieder. Der Raum, in dem wir saßen, hatte keinerlei Charm, Fliesenboden, alte Holzmöbel, alles etwas angejahrt, der Service war inkompetent. Wir hatten uns auf einen tollen Abend mit schönem Essen und gutem Wein gefreut, leider war weder die Qualität des Essens in Ordnung noch der Service. Falschaufnahme der Bestellung, drei Garnelen einsam auf ein bisschen Dekosalat als Vorspeise für mehr als 15.- ist happig, zumal sie kalt serviert wurden. Der erste Blick von aussen ist eher nicht so schön. Das Restaurant ist nicht als solches erkennbar. Innen sieht es leider auch nur nach Kneipe aus. Das Essen hat aber meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Als Gruß aus der Küche gab es hervorragend abgeschmeckten Couscous. Die Vorspeise war Bruschetta. War sehr lecker aber für mein Geschmack zuviel Schnickschnack drumherum .Als Hauptspeise gab es Schweinemedallions mit Kartoffelgratin und Beilagen. War alles sehr lecker. Das Schwein war allerdings etwas zu trocken.Zum Schluss gab es Mirabellenknödel die leider vom Teig her zu trocken und geschmacklos waren.Die Bedienung war sehr nett aber auch vergesslich und tollpatschig. After a long break, I was in the pyramid again. Here both the price-performance ratio and the taste were true. Only the portions within a 4-course menu were somewhat large. Even the service was very friendly and helpful despite a full house. The institution has come a little into the years, but you can change that!

We were two spontaneously on a Tuesday evening in the pyramid: Zanderfilet and Spareribs were our choice, both came fast, very appealing dressed on preheated plates. The food was accordingly hot and very tasty. All right! Operation friendly, everything very clean, appetizing greeting from the kitchen.
Waren hier zu fünft essen, beim Spargel war die sauce hollandaise dick wie Majo und beim surf and turf war die Qualität der Rohstoffe nicht wirklich toll. Zum Ambiente kann man sagen wenn man in den grossen Saal muss ist es sehr ungemütlich, aber der fordere Bereich ist toll.
Hier feierten wir unsere Weihnachtsfeier auf Empfehlung hin...Leider sehr enttäuschend. Das Personal war total überfordert und recht unfreundlich, obwohl wir nur eine kleine Gruppe von 10 Frauen waren und sogar reserviert hatten.Sogar eine Soße Hollondaise war schon Zuviel...
The restaurant was a positive experience. The service is fast and very friendly. The menu is varied, the ordered dishes were all fresh and well dressed, the steak cooked to the point, the salads were very delicious. We'll be back.

We came with a large group and all participants were very impressed by the very good service. The waiting time was also quite OK for a large group. The food was delicious and the portions large enough. Recommended.
It was a very pleasant evening in this restaurant. There was really delicious food made with a lot of imagination. It was a palate mouse. Operation slightly overwhelmed but very friendly. We like to come back.
