at a recent visit to bad konig I visited the scheune to be honest, I did not go with any great expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised, this little place is really a jewel! a restored scheune, but immaculately restored, a warm cozy,...the rustic ambiente, tastefully decorated. the menu is limited with a focus on flammable kitchens also known as tarte flambée, although a nice selection of salads and freshly prepared soups were also present, all very tasty. the customer security was observed accurately and all covid restrictions were adhered to. the service was excellent, with detailed explanations to menu points and recommended to local regional weeping there was nothing to disappoint. c...

Die Alte Scheune in Bad König befindet sich in der Altstadt in unmittelbarer Nähe der Freilichtbühne. Im Sommer ist ein Besuch des malerischen Biergartens ein Muß, eingezeunt mit einem alten Holzgartenzaun , und alter Baumbestand schaffen eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre. Das Lokal selbst ist sehr gemütlich und spezialisiert auf Flammkuchen, 31 verschiedene Sorten von herzhaft , pikant bis süß, lassen keinen Wunsch offen. Auch die Salate und Suppen sind zu empfehlen. Ein schönes Lokal in dem man gerne länger verweilt. Ab und zu werden Themenabende angeboten, Funzelabend, Raclette oder auch Live Musik, Reservierung ist dann empfehlenswert.

We already had 2x Christmas celebrations in this small cozy barn. Everything was good, but unfortunately limited space when more people are. I can't find the place suitable for more than 75 people. In the cellar there is a room where the food is placed. The toilets are clean. The services are very friendly and do not leave thirsty.

Die Karte ist gefüllt mit den leckersten Flammkuchenkreationen. Da ist für jeden was dabei. Die Weinkarte ist ebenso sehr umfangreich. Unsere Weißweine waren sehr gut gekühlt, so gehört sich das. Die junge Bedienung hat das sehr gut gemacht. Sehr freundlich trotz des vollen Lokals. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen- Top

Very stylish, very nice beer garden. Not very large menu, mainly famcake and salads.
