Autsch, das ging daneben...Wir kamen in den letzten Jahren häufiger in die Zwiwwel und waren stets von der Qualität des Essens begeistert, die sehr gute Qualität zu einem annehmbaren Preis offerierte.Bei unserem Besuch diese Woche war aber alles anders. Seit April dieses Jahres sitzt auf der Zwiwwel ein neuer Inhaber. Statt gehobener kreativer Küche wird nun griechisches Massenabfertigungsessen serviert. Das Lokal war zwar gut besucht, über die Qualität kann man streiten. Besonders geschmeckt hat es uns nicht und der Service ließ auch zu wünschen übrig.Wer gerne große Portionen mit übermäßig viel Fleisch isst, mag hier auf seine Kosten kommen; besonders günstig ist es aber dennoch nicht. Ladenburg is a lovely place to visit and this restaurant puts the icing on the cake! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the food was perfect. We opted for wine deal that means each course is accompanied by the correct wine for the course...every wine...a winner! We spent 3 hours over the meal, and the courses arrived with immpecable timing, but the time spent there just flew by. Can highly recommend to anyone wanting an amazing food experience!!

Wir waren vor ein paar Wochen zu einer Geburtstagsfeier dort (4 Personen). Nach unserer Bestellung hat es schon sehr lange gedauert, bis das Essen endlich kam. Mein Bifteki wurde anscheinen erst auf dem Grill vergessen und dann bei Seite gestellt. Als es zum Tisch kam war den leider nicht mehr richtig heiß und total tot gegrillt. Das Fleisch an sich war sehr trocken. Für mich leider schade, die anderen haben jetzt auch keine Luftsprünge gemacht..

the wowwel (local German dialect for wobbles from the high German wobbles) is a gourmet restaurant in the historic old town of Ladeburg. the perfect place for lunch after a walk through the medieval city centre. menu is small, but with very interesting...choices the prices are served at medium level, but absolutely in accordance with the excellent quality of the food. very friendly and quick service. highly recommended for a special meal! Simply amazing experience. Friendly, 5 star service that was flattering and incredibly friendly. I not only felt welcome, but I felt important. Food was fantastic. Three course meal, with every course perfectly balanced to excite the palate, satiate your hunger but not overfill. If you're...looking for a romantic date or anniversary meal then I can highly recommend the wondrous reception and cuisine that awaits here.

a family-run cozy place, we sat outside and enjoyed an excellent meal in a small town that we had least expected. it is also a historical city. the startersalate and main courses were perfect. croquettes and pommes fritted for the children held them busy. no place for dessert, but coffee was one to keep us awake. it has beautiful dining areas in the inner.

Die Zwiwwel war mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Ladenburg, da der ehemalige Inhaber es Verstand, regionale Gerichte auf höchstem Niveau zu kredenzen. Um so schockierender, dass jetzt ein 08/15 Bahnhofsgrieche mit mangelhaftem Service und mangelhaftem Angebot in diese tollen Gemäuer eingezogen ist. Wie kann man als Pächter nur so einen Fehlgriff machen?

this reataurante not only offers great Greek food, but also traditional German cuisine. it is considered one of the best Greek restaurant in the environment. the service is good and it is worth visiting again.
