Dilshad gets 5 stars for hygiene, something we’ve never really thought about mentioning when ordering online. It also gets 5 stars from us for a great meal, delivered quickly, hot and ready to eat. (Again they had to ring us to find our address) I tried the Dupiaza as well as pinching some of my husbands Sizzler Murgh. Both were great to taste, not spicy, just all taste. Sundries we’re great too, plenty of keema in the naan which sometimes other restaurants seem to scrimp with. We kept the extra sauce too make a chicken curry later in the week.
For a change my husband opted for a Sizzler Murgh with extra sauce. He said it was lovely, different in a nice way to his normal choice. I went for the Dupiaza, again for a change. Lovely food. Despite some delay, which appears to be a glitch on the delivery app, (the restaurant always ring us up to say, where is your house! the food was still ready for serving. The spicy chips, keema naan and mushroom pilau were as good as ever. Plenty left over and money off made this a win win meal.
During the COVID pandemic, this restaurant temporarily closed and only offered takeout services. However, it has recently reopened as a fully licensed restaurant. We have dined here twice since its reopening and it has been just as fantastic as we remembered. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and welcoming. Congratulations Dilshad, keep up the excellent work!
After a busy day, a curry was the answer and we utilised a delivery service to get a 25% discount. Now, if the food isn’t good, any discount doesn’t really matter but the Dilshad was spot on again. Delivered on time, ready to serve and enjoy. Great end to a tiring day.

Delivery on Saturday nite : salad was lettuce leaves and wedge of lemon. Poor : onion baggi smallest I’ve ever had : NAN dry and shrivelled : main meal lacked taste and texture. : overall service has dropped will think again before I use again . Not a happy chappie .

Best curry in town by any stretch of the imagination. This restaurant is also one of the few 5 star rated for hygiene in South Shields. Never disappoints.
Wonderful take away tonight the food was delicious piping hot, message to tell you it’s on the way, what not to like service delivery excellent. Loved it
