We ordered fries and a chicken salad along with some beers. The chicken salad was completely flavorless, and to make matters worse, we discovered a piece of plastic mixed in with the chicken. Naturally, we didn’t want to eat it anymore. Instead of discounting the uneaten salad, they chose to take money off some of the beers, which I found very odd. It was a strange experience overall. The place is in a nice location and has a wide beer selection, but I wouldn’t trust their food or management.
A cozy spot that feels like a second home to many. The atmosphere is warm and genuine. Conveniently located just a stone’s throw from the Forest Hill train station. We enjoyed the mussels paired with some beers—the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. Don’t miss their daily specials. The vibe transported me back to the late sixties, complete with fantastic stories about Pierre and his wife.
This restaurant is a true hidden gem, particularly if you’re attending a show at Forest Hills. The wings are some of the best I’ve had in the city, and the mussels were exceptional too. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Additionally, the hot dogs after the show are a wonderful perk!
