I had lunch there with a friend. The place is so noisy we could hardly talk . The menu is essentially breakfast/brunch. I had the so called middle eastern scramble , nicely presented and quite tasty but mock middle eastern and vastly overpriced for what it was at $22. It consisted of a tiny bit of humus, a more substantial bit of guacamole, some scrambled eggs and a generous amount of middle eastern bread. In comparison I had 3 meat skewers on rice and a salad in a proper middle eastern place in the city for only $25. I know they have to make up for the lock down but it is getting ridiculous. I also had a glass of wine which was another $10. I do not expect to pay those sorts of prices for l...

I recently discovered this amazing coffee shop with fantastic coffee and talented baristas who create beautiful latte art, especially impressive tulips. My mother is in a nearby aged care facility, so we decided to have brunch here today. The eggs, bacon, and spinach were beautifully presented, although I was too eager to dig in and forgot to take a picture! The staff here seem to really enjoy their work, as they have cheerful attitudes and even replaced our water carafe without us having to ask. This is a perfect place to sit outside on a sunny day, with umbrellas provided, and there are plenty of tables inside for when the weather is bad.

Went to Dish Spoon for brunch. What a little hidden gem it is! We had coffees and cooked breakfasts. Both were scrumptious and mine souffle pancakes was quite remarkable. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the place is modern but cosy and noise levels were fine. Only hiccup: my coffee was startlingly hot and a little bitter but they happily made me another one (which was perfect). Turns out a trainee had made the first and was learning how to get soy milk to just the right temperature!

The staff at this restaurant are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They serve great coffee, fresh leaf tea, and delicious breakfast options. The serving size of the bacon scrambled eggs and spinach was generous for the price. It's definitely worth making the drive from the other side of town to visit. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating options. I will definitely be returning. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went twice for breakfasts. Excellent thick cut GF (buckwheat? toast, little pats of hand made cultured butter, free range eggs, real leaf tea and well trained staff knowledgeable, helpful, polite, efficient, engaged and happy. Went the extra mile with my freshly squeezed juice. Clean, light, bright. If I lived in Melbourne I would go very frequently. What a treasure.

Loved this place when it began and loved the Poké bowl which is no longer. The council have tarted up the outside area which should be great. The milk bar needs to put their plants and stuff around the corner with the new rubbish bins which would add to the ambience. Always pleasant staff! Looking forward to going for a meal again when we are back to “normal”

My family went to Dish Spoon on a Sunday in March and we didn’t regret going to this cafe. The service was pretty good and the staff were friendly. The kids waffles was good so was the toasty, egg and bacon brioche, poached eggs and we recommend the bomba. The milkshakes were good too.

I had a great experience on Good Friday at this restaurant. The fresh oysters and Prosecco Easter special were delicious. The staff was friendly and positive, and the service was excellent. Reserva una mesa ahora
