The food was really bland. I'll start with that. I think a few others have mentioned it as well but this was my first and most likely my last time eating as District Tacos. I got a veggie bowl. It was supposed to come with rice but I don't know if they are cutting costs or just didn't have enough rice but there was maybe 2-3 tablespoons of rice in the bowl. I just told them to put all the veggies in without looking and once I opened the lid, imma be honest, it was very visually appetizing. Everything had a dull gray quality to it. Also, for such a large bowl, one would expect more than a quarter of the bowl to be full. Maybe use smaller bowls so they look more full. As far as taste, after th...

I would have rather gone to Taco Bell. A little over $14! for a disrespectful tortilla filled with chewy unseasoned steak and some other stuff. I ate about a third of the burrito, threw the rest away, and heated up a hot pocket. I came here on a recommendation and now I'm rethinking if I should ever trust their judgment based solely on this woefully underwhelming burrito. It felt embarrassed for district taco. There's no way this place will withstand the test of time and no one who's had good Mexican food would dare come here a second time. Especially not at those prices.
The tacos have changed significantly since my last visit, which I believe was around 5 or 6 years ago. The quality of the tacos now falls short of expectations; we chose the 3 for $10 option, but found them to be quite bland and lacking in flavor. The presentation left much to be desired as well. There seemed to be a loss of authenticity in the tacos, as if the essence of what made them special had been overshadowed by the commercialization of the area. I might try the location in Silver Spring to see if it offers a better experience!
I’ve heard great things about District taco for years and finally ordered a couple tacos to see what the hype was all about. I ordered the three taco combo plus one extra taco. One of them was to be vegetarian with guacamole and a few other toppings. What showed up at my door was a joke. 4 tiny tacos. Look at this taco with only lettuce and a scoop of rice. You’re seriously better off value wise going to chipotle. $15 gets you 3 tiny tacos here. What a complete rip off. Reserva una mesa ahora
I and my colleagues came here for a quick lunch between meetings. The food was great, the staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy! I got guacamole in my burrito instead of meat and it was heavenly! One bite and I was transported to some other world. Like seriously. It was that good.
To start with the employees are more interested in talking to each other than they are in preparing or delivering the food. I had two tacos and I ate half of one. I think the only reason they have any businesses because they’re so few Mexican type restaurants in the area.
Got the BYO breakfast burritos. I’m always wary of ordering carne asada at new places some tend to be over chewy yada yada nope! They got it right. From the tortilla all the way through to the fresh jalapeños. Nom nom nom Their habanero sauce could be spicier though
So much rice I didn't see any chicken hold on let me take a photo of what's left I ate a lot of rice already the first three bites was all white rice. I might have had one or two bites tops chicken but I had a lot of rice it was not worth it Reserva una mesa ahora
You have the option to place orders with staff or at kiosks. I was told I had to order from the kiosk while another person came in and they took his order. Service was very short and barely said anything to me. But the food is a hot
