Bar area very nice with a few hightops and comfortable bar. Restaurant area very nice also. Welcomed at entrance by owner/manager and seated. Service was attentive and helpful. Menu is diverse with lots of delicious options. Interesting cocktails and simple wine list. Oysters were fresh and beautifully served. The owner, John, embodies kindness and hospitality, ensuring that every guest enjoys a personalized and memorable dining experience. He, along with the rest of the staff, is always generous, gracious, and welcoming. The food is upscale and absolutely delicious; they accommodate special requests with ease. This place is fantastic! The food is very good over all but the raw bar is phenomenal!! Staff is very well dressed and professional and I'm not sure if it's the owner or manager but there's a gentleman there (shapely dressed) that is very polite and just make the experience that much better. The complimtary port wine with dessert was the cherry ontop! Located on a beautiful little strip and me and my better half try to eat here once a month at this point. Highly recommend the raw bar and fried calamari!
We're from North Carolina on a two weeks trip, and we're so glad we found Dive Ostyer House. From the moment we walked in, the owner made us feel like we had been coming to this place for years. The lobster rolls and fried calamari were great. The servers were responsive and the restaurant was clean. Only downside is that it's slightly cramped. It's a little stuffy for a small restaurant . Even though the servers are attentive, they are not friendly. I guess I was expecting more for them to be welcoming. Anyway, the food we ordered was great. Very flavorful tasty. The Lychee Martini was not good. Branzino in white wine was amazing! The lava chocolate cake was the best! Absolutely fantastic experience all around. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the owner frequently interacts with guests in a positive manner. Our entire meal, from the appetizer to the dessert, was exceptional! It was a genuine dining experience in a cozy atmosphere. The owner and his daughter were extremely attentive and professional!
