Deservedly a Maitre Patissier Traiteur, member of l'Académie Culinaire de France, which loosely translated means delicious patisserie to die for ((very special coffee eclairs)). They have an art deco cafe above the shop with good fresh salads and other snacks including omelette and chips; a calm quiet atmosphere and good views, all spotlessly clean. Good value, too. Lovely! Beware narrow spiral staircase, so not suitable young children or disabled.

The cakes here are to die for. We went here twice. The first time for coffee accompanied by custard tart and raspberry and passion fruit tart. The second time we went upstairs and had very generous servings of tea. The pots yielded 4 cups each. Very high quality. I had a large raspberry macaroon which was perfectly squidgy with a very fruity filling. Wifi is free and it is a very restful place to while away an afternoon.

Four of us had Caesar and goats cheese salads and we agreed that they were excellent. Lettuce especially was fresh and the tender and large chicken pieces were juicy and delicious. We sat in the street and enjoyed the sunny day and passing parade in the town mall. The service was excellent - friendly and dealt withEnglish well. The Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc was refreshing and perfect for the day.

We Found this little gem in the middle of a commercial street in Dieppe looking for good quality coffee and couldn't resist the beautiful pastries and chocolate. Don't expect cheap coffee and soggy croissants here.
