I've heard great things about Dix Ave Diner, and it's easy to see why it charms its visitors. The atmosphere was so inviting that I even considered volunteering there. The owner was incredibly friendly and enjoyed a delightful chat with my friend and me. Overall, it was an amazing experience. The food was tasty, and the coffee was only $1 with free refills! The owner's enchanting stories add to the warm ambiance, and the decor showcases the diner’s cleanliness and care. I highly recommend stopping by and look forward to my next visit!
I ordered the cheesy bacon fries, but they were disappointing because they didn't have enough cheese and didn't impress me at all. The Adirondack burger came out at what I can only describe as room temperature, and the fries were dry and lacked seasoning. I won't be going back to this restaurant. I decided to give it a try on a whim, but honestly, I would have preferred McDonald's; at least their food is consistently tasty and served hot.

We had a fantastic experience savoring delicious home-cooked meals made by the wonderful Randy. After a long drive from Quebec, we were exhausted, and he kindly let us rest in our van on his property. We will definitely return for another visit next time!
