"I recommend you get a cup of clam chowder with anything you eat! It's simple yet amazing! The shrimp and grits were excellent! The grilled catfish sandwich was seasoned well and filling with two decent pieces of fish! Ask for Nina, she took great care of us and brought water right away without asking. "

Me and my son discovered this place in 2014. On a road trip we took that lead us through four different states before we return home . Amazing trip! This is one of many places we found and it had fantastic food. One amazing friendly staff. It’s kinda off the beaten path, to my surprise this little restaurant is World Famous. Their famous Corn Fritters are to die for. But that’s not the only thing to die for around here. They serve up several mouthwatering dishes around here. These folks revolutionized the local seafood market by inventing a machine that cracks open the hard shell of rock shrimp making them a readily obtainable delicacy. Opening in 1983 with just 30 seats, they now have over 460! Great folks who care very much for the protection of the environment and shore lines and have been very active in passing legislation to ensure sustainability.
