Update- Finally for lunch. My 5 stars stood- the chicken had n dumplings. Peace okra and banana pudding comes with a third side, but my waist line said absolutely not. I was really disappointed with how fast I ate my dumplings. Absolutely delicious! The staff was amazing as always and the owner makes it a point to walk around and talk to everyone who comes between cooking! Yall. This is that Saturday morning corn house cooking type of restaurant. If you are looking for a place to become a regular..This is it! All I ordered was delicious and I got all, but kicked my record. The fried Bologna and Eibiscuit....oooooweee! And the staff is sweet as possible!

I went thru the drivethru to order a meal the lady was so kind was just so pleasant, that I appreciated so much. Everything I ordered was so delicious, chicken livers, pinto beans ,mashed potatoes potato salad was absolutely delicious. First time I've had their lives first time I've eaten chicken livers here,homemade pinto beans they were outstanding. Thank you for keeping the past owner's legacy alive with a great meal today?

Best fried Flounder around! Light, fluffy and always a good part. Go for the fish and stay for the peach kicker, wonderful!
