I ordered a delivery about 10:15pm tonight. Delivery was just after 11pm. Fine with that. Thought I'd give the place a try as its local and I love chicken. What a nightmare! Delivery came on time, happy with that, part of my order they didn't have so replaced with a different item. Still happy. Took it in to the kitchen and opened it. Turned it on to a plate and it was cold. I mean I would be scared to eat it. I used a probe to test it and yeah I was right. I phoned them and told them about it and they did not care. When it first opened and a year or 2 afterwards it really was nice and I probably visited about 3-4 times a week. Unfortunately I just wouldn't visit the place now. It's as if the chicken pieces have become a lot smaller with less chicken in the strips and meals and more batter than anything, along with this the prices have also went up so it just doesn't add up. Also I remember one time they asked me if I wanted to sit in, as I always did I said yes, about 5 minutes into my meal they said I must leave with my food because they had to lock the shop so they could pray. Phoned for a delivery for myself and my family on a Sunday night. It took around an hour to arrive which wasn't to much of an issue and I was told this when I ordered. After I recieved the order and took it inside I realised that one of the kids meals was missing. I phoned to let them know and I was told that this would be sent out. We had our meal and to be honest I wish the whole order hadn't arrived! Cold, soggy chips. Dry burger bun with a cold burger which was difficult to swallow. Even if this meal had been cheap it would be unnacceptable, but it's dearer than KFC! Generous portions, freshly prepared while we waited and politely served by a friendly member of staff. The 5 peice box meal and the Sizzling Tower meal more than filled me and my partner and it came to just over a 10a. This was our 2nd visit since Friday and both occasions were equally as nice. If I wasn't bothered about the waistline I would be there again tomorrow We will definitely be back though. We have a new favourite chicken restaurant.

It is clear that hygiene is not in their priorities what so ever and that’s the part of the shop that is customer facing I dread to think what the kitchen or food storage area is like. 4 members of staff stood around talking while the floor and every table are an absolute mess! Not to mention how stale and hard the chicken tasted. The chips were good, perhaps they should just do chips.... never again!
Food was ok but not great. Good sized portions. Burger bun was very soggy due to lettuce, mayo and heat. Chilli bites and mozzeralla sticks were very nice. Delivered late and driver did not even smile and didn't even say one word to me which I found very rude. Not sure if I'll order from here again.
Dixy Chicken wouldn't be on the top of my list of takeaways to visit, now I know why. The staff are rude and swear at each other, the place is dirty on the seats , behind the desk where the food is being cooked and on the floor. It is cheap but I wouldn't return to waste my money.
we order from Dixy Chicken often, the service is great and the food is lovely. Recommended! I'd go for the chicken burger with a hash brown on top, with a cobette and fries, lovely!

Shop here every day good deals at small prices and 1/10 for quality found me nanas third leg in one of the burgers so I will rate it five for you getting it back to her
