One of the better Turkish restaurants in London. I've been to this place a couple of times and never disappoints. I went for the sharing platter 1 for 2 people with extra salad. Started off with dips and bread which was a nice fresh start and good portions. The tzantiki was refreshing along with the warm bread. Then the meat arrives, wow, what a portion. Lamb shish, chicken shish, chicken wings, donar, rice and peppers. The food was a good quality compared to other Turkish restaurants I've been to where the quality of meat is poor or they've cooked it whey too long. After a short walk from the underground station I finally reached Diyarbakir restaurant. When coming into the restaurant one can feel the cleanliness and the welcoming of their staff. The name itself is from the kurdish city Amed but unfortunately the staff only spoke turkish. Coming to the food now. They gave us free starters like freshly baked bread and a delicious yoghurt sauce. For the main I went for the mixed grill which was really good, the texture and everything about it. I never had a turkish on green lanes, since dalston is more comfortable for me. I was a little disappointed here it is a large, very professionally run place. incredibly fast service. obviously popular with Turks when I overheard a lot of tables that order in Turkish. I was here to eat with friends. a table online booked so it was restless and we no longer have to wait when arrived. the staff were friendly and opened some talks with us I ordered çöp sis ( chopped lamb,) the marinated lamb served over grill cooked with rice and salat. it didn't take long to eat. the part was great and it tasted amazing, and they also served some beside dishes including aubergine and brot, which seemed so satisfying it was really an amazing dinner experience that we had. the room was not really thoroughly decorated, but their eyes will be pampered by amazing shish and grill displays. The best Turkish restaurant on Green Lanes. Visit their new branch on Green Lanes, the decor is nice and the food is just soo good. We visit this place regularly, it is very busy but they are very quick to seat you and take your orders. The hot bread that comes with your dips is my favourite! I would rate this place 5+

very rude staff: speak only Turkish: very aggressively raise prices; brot reheated: not hygienic: next time I will record video to send it : I will advise everything not to go this restaurant and. to write back their feed, as the service becomes terrible: no English staff in the restaurant?

An AMAZING night out at the Diyarbakir resturaunt!!!. Oh my goodness, It was the most unimaginable dinner you could have... EVER!!! It was absolutely lovely, had great service and was worth the money. I highly recommend it and out of 5 I would give it..... 5 Stars!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

A cheap and cheerful Kurdish-Turkish grill with a unique kebab that is expertly spiced. The soft bread is the winner here as it is lightly brushed in meat juices before it is served, giving it a lovely smokey flavour. The kunafa is excellent and service is great

the owner has sometimes changed and took all good cooks and waiter with. the remaining waiters are inexperienced, rude, need for care, workers who have no idea of food treatment.
