Lovely little hole in the wall. My family and I decided to take the half hour drive down to D'Michaels after reading all of the reviews. When we walked in, the decor was a mixture of beach side and boardwalk atmosphere. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was so friendly and sweet. We decided to order a philly cheesesteak, a bomb special which is basically a philly cheesesteak with conecuh sausage on it, and kids pizza. First, my kids are very picky eaters and are usually never happy with any pizza but they loved their pizza. I had the cheesesteak and I loved it. It was the best one I had here in Alabama and that is saying something since I come from the North where the Philly chees...

I would have never discovered this place if it weren't for other reviews, but I'm really happy I did. You can't judge a book by its cover here. The food is EXCELLENT, the service is great, and the prices are affordable. There's also a good variety on the menu. I had the best gyro philly steak I've ever tasted! You can tell the food is consistently good when there’s a constant stream of customers coming in to pick up their orders while you're there. There are still things I want to try. I love that they feature our local Conecuh sausage on the menu. What’s not to love?

Cheesesteak Sandwich was great.. I wanted to eat here for a long time, after all the reviews and good things I heard. Your place is a bit far from my home to be comfortable, but it was worth the trip. I had the cheese steak sandwich with pommes and it was spectacular. I almost ordered something else to go with it, but I couldn't have eaten it, the sandwich and the pommes were very filled. Well worth a visit when you are on the go, good food and the service was excellent.

Y'all just try it okay, just try it!!! I found this place on Google and I'm so glad I did!!! Their Philly cheesesteak is to die for anddddd their onion rings are so good! I had nice and friendly service and Fred, I believe that was his name, was so nice and kind and courteous. He suggested I try the Philly cheesesteak and I'm so glad I did. My experience was one that would rival that of any fine dining. The food was cooked perfect and the staff was very pleasant. The owner took time to ask of our experience. All these things contributed to a wonderful endeavour. As a matter of fact all my past visits have been great.

Was traveling and passed through Alabama. Urban spoon recommended this place and it was delicious!! Got the two most popular items (asked them) which were the gyro and the Philly cheese steak and both were delicious. Fries were meh.

The food here is delicious! Everything I've tried is really good, and everyone I know who's eaten here loves it, too! Customer service is great too! Everyone who works here has ALWAYS been kind and courteous! I LOVE D'MICHAEL'S!

The food quality is going down. My sandwich looked like it was ate and then put back together. I still ate it and it tasted great. But let's get back to our roots if we can!
