Ambiance:Causal sit down restaurant. Plenty of parking, tons of potholes. Service:Excellent, they treat you like family and get you in and out. Food came out fast, but if you order stuff that isn't broth and noodles might take a bit longer.Food:To fairly judge every Vietnamese restaurant I go to I always get the Pho Dac Biet the first time. The meats where very tender not chewy at all even the brisket wasn't chewy and that's usually a problem with a lot of pho places. I tried this place with friends not too long ago and couldn't believe how good it was. As soon as we came in, they were very welcoming and started us off with waters. We ended up ordering: Banh Xeo( rice pancake filled w/ meat), Spicy Curry Chicken, Bun Thap Cam (vermicelli bowl), and Spring Rolls. Everything was so flavorful and delicous, they also explained what everything was which was helpful. The staff really pride themselves on creating a great experience and make you feel like you're at home.

Doan's has been my go to for Vietnamese since day one. It is a family owned business with delicious food. When the mom is there which is most of the time, I get her to make an avocado and green bean smoothie. My favorites are vermicelli with pork and egg roll V2, grilled beef fresh rolls, yellow pancake, pho tai and grilled pork chop with broken rice. Wow tried this place for the first time today. I had the beef spring rolls and the beef brisket/eye round steak pho. I’ve been eating Vietnamese food for more than a decade and found it difficult to find a top notch place in Charlotte. This is where you need to go for some real Vietnamese cuisine.
