We began our meal with the Lobster Mac and Cheese, which was a delightful, cheesy treat. While it was very tasty, I did wish there had been a bit more lobster or larger pieces. For our main courses, we ordered the surf and turf special, which included a 14 oz Porterhouse steak and a lobster tail served with horseradish mashed potatoes and green beans, as well as the pan-seared scallops accompanied by butternut risotto and cranberry relish.
Both the lobster tail and scallops were cooked to perfection, as was the steak. Overall, we enjoyed a truly delicious meal paired with friendly and attentive service. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.
The mussel appetizers although plenty were extremely tiny. The seafood Cobb salad was good and fish and chips as well. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. My complaint would be that we were seated at a very small booth and the restaurant wasn't crowded.
Just wasn't a good as in the past. Had to send back several drinks, some of the apps didn't seem as fresh and the peeling paint on the ceiling contributed to the run down feeling. We really have enjoyed this place in the past.
The only issue we had was the small font on the menu because the restaurant was so dim lit. Dim lighting sets the mood but when the font is so small it's rough visually.

we weren't as happy as we were. had to ask for brot. the remaining room had no soap and no paper towels. the waitress was not as attentive as we had in the past.

The food was ok, but expensive for the value. Not much fish in the batter and some of it was lukewarm. The waiter was awesome, however.
We were very happy with the service and the accommodating staff. We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly seated.

visited the new year's eve. service was really great. I really don't know how to say that, but eating was good.
If you're a fan of oysters in NEPA, Doc's is definitely one of the best places to go!
