When dining at Dock of the Bay, we feel like we are with family. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious and kept us coming back; we have tried almost everything on the menu. We particularly enjoy going on Wednesday nights for the half-priced bottles of wine, which we often take home. The service is excellent and the food is expertly cooked. If you are looking for fast food, you may be disappointed as everything is made fresh in the restaurant, not frozen or microwaved. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, with a unique ambiance. My husband and I visited this wonderful restaurant on Friday. Honestly I havent ever gotten anything that wasn't ultimately mouth watering, our favorites are the grilled seafood platter, scallop platter, oyster Rockefeller and clam chowder crab minis. Good food and good service. We had the broiled seafood platter and fried fish tacos. The platter only had two shrimp and two scallops in addition to a good size piece of salmon and crab cake. Everything was cooked perfectly so it?s definitely quality over quantity. There were three big fish tacos which didn?t disappoint. Holy, our server was excellent!
I have driven by this place many times, but I didn't know it existed until 9/17! The staff was friendly, especially the waitress Megan (or Meghan). She was attentive, accommodating, and overall a nice person. The food was delicious, hot, and tasty! I will definitely be back soon.
