This downtown Port Washington restaurant is a delicious and popular spot known for its friendly service. Customers can order at the register and pick up their food when it's ready. The menu offers excellent breakfast and lunch options, as well as a variety of tasty sweet treats. The restaurant is a bright and inviting space perfect for grabbing coffee and chatting with friends. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, with natural light streaming in. One standout dish is the banana chocolate chip bread pudding. First and last time here. The cashier was EXTREMELY rude, I?ve never seen anything like it. She claimed we cut people in line and then proceeded to yell at us for ordering too quickly. When we brought up that I had a food allergy she cut me off,literally waved her hands and replied ?yeah yeah?. I was stunned and disgusted with this kind of service. I truly wish we justleft and didn?t give them any of our money. The sandwiches were fine but that interaction with the cashier truly ruined thewhole meal.
Normally have no issues with the deli. Live in the neighborhood so patronize it often. Today July 3rd I ordered a avacodo chicken ceaser salad. Unfortunately they forgot the ceaser dressing. I understand sometimes mistakes are made. It was extremely busy at the time so accredit it to that. Otherwise this is one of the top places to eat in Port Washington! Please patronize this awesome place!
Standard Deli offers a large menu and speedy service. The beautiful views of the Harbor outside are a nice touch. The food is tasty and satisfying, without being too heavy. One downside is the upsell of a soda and bag of chips with your sandwich for $2.25, which seems like a blatant tactic to make extra money from customers. It would be nice if they could be a bit more subtle about it.

For lunch, my husband and I both enjoyed sandwiches and soup at Dockside. I ordered the turkey club, while my husband tried the special salmon BLT with Clam Chowder. The flavors were exceptional. The use of fresh ingredients and the unique sandwich options at Dockside truly set them apart from typical fast food chains. We highly recommend giving it a try!
The Chorizo Skillet was a good spicy, not too much, but enough to wake you up. My husband had the Mile High Skillet, unbelievable. We had an ice cone, Burnt Butterscotch, who was great. People are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere wonderful. A great place!
Great service, nice tables at the port and good food. You even have gluten-free toast that opens a lot more possibilities! Four stars on the food because my wife ordered fried eggs and they were almost uncooked. She'll order her next time.
Finally, it did in to try #11 Lakeside Special for $ 8.50 plus chips n drink. WOW! Great sandwich as you can see that I could only eat HALF. Great value, will be back. I need to bring a friend to share him!
