**Ambiance:** Dodie's outdoor patio is fantastic, complemented by an open bar and dining area that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. With booths, high tables, and multiple large TVs, it’s the perfect spot to catch a game—especially on LSU game days. **Atmosphere:** Even on a Thursday night, Dodie's was lively and energetic. By 8 PM, the bar and patio were buzzing, adding to the vibrant mood. **Cleanliness:** The restaurant was reasonably clean, particularly considering it’s a bar setting. **Flavors:** - **1 lb of Hot Boiled Shrimp** – These peel-and-eat shrimp were perfectly cooked and flavorful. Though a bit small, they weren't overly buttery, with a spice mix that brought a pl...

This place is not a true Cajun kitchen. It's more like a sports bar, with loud TVs and sports on every wall. The waitstaff is attractive, reminiscent of Hooters girls, and the service is satisfactory. The drinks might be good, but as someone who doesn't drink, I can't say for sure. I ordered a simple dish of beans, rice, and sausages, and it turned out to be some of the worst food I've ever had. I'm not sure what you'd think of when you hear "Cajun food," but it definitely wasn't this. My husband tried a seafood dish and didn't enjoy it either. If you're looking to really enjoy the atmosphere and the food, I'd suggest dining somewhere else first before stopping by this place.

We were supposed to meet up with friends for dinner, but they went to the Dodies in Rockwall. I'm glad our GPS lead us to this one. The atmosphere was somewhat lively and the bar had a great vibe going on. They had plenty of big screens to watch the game. Our server was great, she offered a few suggestions and explained the menu items well. We ordered the shrimp and crawfish nachos, red beans and sausage with rice and the salmon with potatoes and sausage. Every bite was delicious and on point. I have to say it did not disappoint at all and look forward to going back and bringing our friends next time.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with a friend. We had a fantastic time, especially since we were there to watch a game. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a spot to enjoy a game or grab some beers. We chose a table right by the entrance, and it turned out to be a perfect choice since there wasn’t anyone else sitting there. My buddy suggested it, and we were pleased to find a TV right in front of us. It was a great setup! Reserva una mesa ahora

Great Cajun place with bar, delicious food, polite and attentive staff, and with rooftop seating available. Something about eating dinner high up, quite enjoyable. I strongly recommend the Pasta Monica. Menu says its spicy but it's actually a bit mild, which was perfect because it lets the savory flavors shine. Will be back for that pasta!

Great Cajun square with bar, delicious food, courtesy and attentive staff, and with roof terrace seating available. Something about dinner high up, very pleasant. I recommend Pasta Monica. Menu says its spicy, but it is actually a bit mild, which was perfect because it lets the savory flavors shine. Will be back for the pasta!

Had never been here and as a Louisianan by birth it wasn't too bad but they are definitely overpriced. The Hurricane is a bit overpriced for what it is, especially the frozen one. The meat pies were alright but a little too crispy and thick on the outside and you could definitely tell they weren't fresh. I give it overall a C+
