Great downtown place for a dog and chili-cheese fries. They are always doing a brisk business for dine-in and carry out. Their dog and topping selections are extensive, and you can get freshly cooked fries with your meal. They have counter and table seating, so they cater to single diners and groups. If the weather is nice, hit the sidewalk and do some people watching. If hot dogs aren't your thing, they have burgers, shrimp, and fish for the other tastes.

The chili dogs were fantastic, so much so that we ordered another one. The rolls were incredibly soft. They offer various sizes and have both beef and vegetarian hot dogs. There are plenty of toppings to choose from, including a selection from an extensive list. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they also serve burgers, shrimp baskets, mullet, and more. Oh, and they have a bar as well!

So glad I stopped here! My wife got a Po Boy and really enjoyed it. I had a Flyin Hawaiian and a Velvet Elvis (add Fritos). I highly recommend both of these and this little modification to the Velvet Elvis makes it wildly satisfying. Staff is super friendly and very helpful and the bartender Heather made some excellent recommendations.

I absolutely love the Dog House! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We were in Pensacola for an appointment and decided to give this place a try for lunch.
