Doherty's Home Bakery

I visited Foyle Street Bakery on Saturday, May 15th, around 2:10 PM. As I entered, I noticed a girl chatting with the shop assistant about her recent purchases from Primark. The employee behind the counter glanced at me when I walked in but then completely ignored me while I stood there with my purse ready to make a purchase. This lack of customer service was disappointing, so I felt I had no choice but to leave the shop.

My partner went in to order two toasties and paid for them, then briefly stepped out to return later to pick up his order. When he got back, the staff behind the counter not only misprepared the order but also informed him that they couldn't make one of the toasties because the kitchen closed at 3 PM, even though the restaurant is advertised to be open until 5:30 PM. This just seems like pure laziness to me.

The restaurant is impeccably clean, the food is exceptional, and the staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and cheerful, even while managing a busy environment. Thank you!
