Dolce Caffe - Reserva de mesa

Small Cafe/Restaurant set in a lovely square next to the church of Notre Dame in Clisson, France. The cafe mainly operates outside, with tables and chairs set out in the square surrounding a fountain. Limited menu, but tasty food and drinks at a very reasonable...price. The owner takes your order and will let you know what is on offer that day. This is a French cafe in France and the owner has some English and makes himself understood well. He seems to do all the orders and attends all tables himself unaided, setting out more tables if required as passers by stop for a drink. It never ceased to amaze me how he could remember your entire order and cost without reference to anything but his me...

We visited as a family. Granted it was a French holiday. After being left to look at the menu. My mother ordered the quiche Lorraine. We were told there was only foccacia on the menu that day (what was the point of giving us a...menu? My mother is bread intolerant so couldn't eat that. The owner was rude and said he preferred if we left. It was awkward, unnecessary and embarrassing. If you want pleasant service obviously give it a miss, genuinely can't comment on the food as we left in search of a better welcome which thankfully we found!!

A good place for a quick lunch, and cheap : menus at 7 or 10 euros with a small pizza or foccacia, a salad and a dessert. The foccacias are more filling than the pizzas, which are perfect size for the kids. A large choice of very good desserts, not to mention a real Italian coffee for 1 euro ! The owner was just not particularly friendly. The location is perfect since it is located on a charming little square with the church, and one minute by foot to the castle.

Très difficile de trouver un restaurant ouvert ce lundi d'août à Clisson ! Au moins une bonne dizaine de restaurants fermés.Nous sommes tombés sur ce petit restaurant avec ses tables sur la place de l'église. Accueil sympathique, menu simple et bon à 10€ avec une focaccia, une salade verte en accompagnement et une pâtisserie, parfait après une promenade dans le domaine de la Garenne Lemot. Cela faisait très couleur locale dans cette ville italianisante :-)

What a little of us ate there yesterday and we were all extremely pleased with our choices from slices of quiche Lorraine to foccacia to a slice of spinach and goats cheese all served with tomato in vinaigrette followed by lovely desserts.. we all had drinks and the bill was less than euros. It was our first visit but it will not be our last. It was all served with a smile although very busy..

Après avoir visité toute la ville, nous nous sommes installés juste pour prendre d'abord un café et ensuite un verre de vin / une petite bière. Ainsi je ne peux rien dire sur les repas. ....Mais le café est vraiment bien situé, on a la vue sur l'église et on voit les gens passer. Le service était gentil - donc un bon moment de vacances!

Traite la clientèle comme du bétail, d'autant plus quand elle habite le village. Encore un commercant de Clisson qui ne travaille que pour l'argent et les touristes. (On m'a refusé une fin d'après-midi car mon billet était trop froissé au goût du patron) Reserva una mesa ahora

Disgusting food a complete bad experience.The place a mish mash of poor decor we assume the person in charge was the owner was just to say awake made no effort to communicate or show any signs of service.This place needs closing down Soon as Possible.

Good atmosphere, a touch of Italy in a French town. Food was good, cappuccino was good. I mostly recommend this place for the feel of it.
