I'm a bit tied up that my employees are happy to eat here every Wednesday for their pasta specialties. I'm with them for the first time today and was completely underwhelmed. Pasta is overcooked and muddy, oversalted, and the Carbonara sauce was not as described when I asked the server about it. I asked what was in it, as I know, many American Italian spots belong onions in their Carbonara and the server said nothing about them, so I thought I was sure, but no, I was served a dish I was allergic to. I ate about her as well as I could because I'm not anaphylactic and wasn't interested in making my staff too late, but I'm not excited about the abdominal pain I have to do with. When the server...
I gave this review a 3 I don't know, maybe they had an off-day, but I ordered them a few times since then and I came to appreciate this mother and pop-joint, which is actually owned and operated by Italian Americans. The Penne alla vodka is gold! You have to try and if you are happy enough to get her fresh baked bread, you are in heaven. The pizza is also good and the eggplant parmigiana is excellent, it looks as if they were made their Gravy house and they did not excessive salt the food that I have now come to appreciate.
Was told this was one of the best pizza spots in Yonkers and I was not disappointed. it?s been around for 40 years and you can tell. Pizza crust was everything. Great ratio of sauce and toppings. I also got the cheese cake which I am glad I did! It?s homemade by his mom?s original recipe. Great slice.
We ordered chicken parm and meatball parm sandwiches and shared them so we could try both. Both sandwiches were fantastic! The Campagnola potatoes were delicious! I just wish there had been more of them, but that's only because we devoured them so quickly!

Used to come here as a kid for pizza and for the restaurant, and this place is as good as I remember. Pizza is always incredible. Food from the kitchen is always fantastic and everyone is always so nice.
Her seafood pasta is the best in town hands down!!! Very friendly and welcoming place. You also have the best bread. This place is definitely a clamp in Yonkers. Stop the big workers!
Awesome place that I found by accident and really enjoyed if your in the Yonkers area I would definitely 10/10 recommend trying it
Rigatoni Monte Mare delicious BUT WAS IN BAG SIDEWARDS AND MOST OF SAUCE SPILT OUT AND IN A SMALLER CONTAINER IS THERE NEW OWNERS

This is the best PIZZA-RIA in which it's about being so NICE, and that's good.
