Domaine de Pont Aven Restaurant

The food and service at the restaurant was first class. The waitresses were most obliging in the explanation of the menu although their English was struggling a little. If I were to have any criticism the choice of décor and colour I am told was...(fuchsia) was not to our taste hence our rating of atmosphere. However this did not detract from the presentation and superb quality of the meal.

Once the day ended we decided to go eat at the hotel restaurant. with a 21st formula we were served quickly. a garnished entrance, a fish dish with a sauce to fall on the ground with a rice supplement. the quality of service was good, smiling and friendly. We made the closure with pleasure. To be recommended!

From arrival to departure, we were treated to amazing hospitality and food. The chef certainly knows how to please. Presentation and flavours were superb and all washed down with a little bottle of bio wine our first experience) O' de terre. Faultless. Deserves a...Michelin star here! Thank you.

We were a party of ten and the food was very mixed. There was a choice of three set price menus. Most of our party went for the mid priced menu which was disappointing. A few of our party had the trout tartare starter which...was terrible. No flavour and an awful texture.

From the village, one can take a pathway of appox. steps to arrive at a modern restaurant overlooking a beautiful garden. Food is eclectic with both traditional and modern cusine
