The Moulin has been in the Lavaud family for over 150 years and is not just a restaurant. Its’ days as a mill which served the nearby Chateau and the village of Coussac Bonneval have long since ended however the story and some remnants of its former life are on display in a small barn onsite if you care to seek it out. Since then it has diversified and these days it makes its multi-faceted living as a Restaurant, Fish Farm, Carp and Trout Fishing lakes, Picnic Area and start-point for various hikes, as well as providing accommodation. We reserved the area for a party weekend with friends, the location is completely suitable. A large, fully equipped room, very comfortable lodgings and well-appointed exteriors. The place has incredible charm, surrounded by nature and close to all amenities. We had a great weekend, we will keep very good memories of it. The enthusiastic and warm welcome from the owners is worth highlighting, a real pleasure to have met you. Your place deserves to be known.
We spent a wonderful evening on Saturday, August 20, 2022. The meal was excellent served by a chef and a team at the top. The world music concert gave tonight a note of exoticism and travel wishes. A big thank you to Cinnelle for serving us with passion and efficiency. Thank you to the entire team at Moulin Authier for the excellence of its reception and professionalism.
Very nice site, with many basins. Flavoured fishery with taste. It makes it good to stroll around the area whether to fish, enjoy an ice cream or better settle on the shaded terrace of the restaurant. Excellent meal, dishes including local products tasteful and beautifully presented. Warm welcome. A haven of peace and freshness where we will return without hesitation.

We discovered this place on a summer evening, we took the apero by taking advantage of sunset and we finished the evening by dining in front of a fireplace fire. early August! We loved the calm and serenity of this soothing place. we have enjoyed an affordable and comforting cuisine. The boss is very nice and we'll go back to her eyes closed!
Endroit reposant et naturel. Vous êtes très bien accueillis et le sourire est de mise . Les produits sont très bons et tout est fait maison. Merci pour ce moment très agréable, notre petit toutou à adoré.
