What a difference from last night. Continuing on with the celebrations for the Brunette's 40th, it was her sister's choice and it's a cracker. Well-worked dishes with surprising flavours, nice balance and beautifully presented. (Confirming our suspicions about last night's overpriced disappointment in Azay-le-Rideau). My assorted salmon starter was just gorgeous. Fresh and lively. And the guinea fowl with morel mushrooms was also perfect. A very tasty Pinot Gris and a Moulin A Vent washed everything down nicely. I did find the table to be too big. Seriously, it was massive. There was only 9 of us and it was the size of a squash court!
I went to Carli's store in this neighborhood. I bought several chocolate boxes for Christmas. I had no packaging (small bags) for my chocolate boxes. When I arrived at home, I noticed that the consumption date was until the end of January only. I bought it elsewhere (Guerlais) to compare the service was better and the consumption date goes until the end of March. It's more enjoyable to offer.
We came for our wedding meal. In addition to a superb setting, the welcome, the catering and the hosts are incredible. Thanks to you this moment was even more wonderful. Thank you all for your work and support. I will not hesitate to recommend you.
Wonderful place chosen by my daughter and my son-in-law for the wedding of their dreams. the setting is romantic to wish and the 45 guests enjoyed a lot. the staff is welcoming and the meal is excellent. I recommend without hesitation.
