Domaine du Serre d'Avene

The setting of this restaurant cannot be beaten. It offers magnificent views over Ales to Mont Bouquet and even the western Alps. The food was a good value and the service was just about a kept pace, even if there was a lady very well manageable about 10 tables. Where Le Mas (as they call the restaurant) falls, it is still unambiguously a work underway. There are clear signs that the building is incomplete, the access to the restaurant from the parking lot is very rough and these things depart from the overall experience. Last point I would have given the restaurant four stars except that the owner dog, a Alsatian, ran loose around the tables, laid his nose on the tables and asked for food....

We were a party of 15 people and the meal was HORRIBLE! The Hentrecote wasn't... It was like you didn't make it. We complained and did not eat anything from the meal, they still charged us 24 euros. It is a beautiful environment, nice staff, it is a real thing that the FUNDAMENTAL WRONG! If she might have prepared a smaller menu with good quality food fresh, it would go along to be a very successful restaurant.

We arrived in July for a night on our road trip, away from the tourist beaches, and we found this very beautiful place with stunning views of the area, at the entrance of the Cévennes. Great staff, very welcoming, fantastic place and beautiful pool, good food and wine... we come back!

I asked a few woman before entering how the food is and they said excellent and that they come monthly This is a sit down/carryout restaurant.

I haven't been to the Happy In since the late 1980sIt still seems to be in its "new" location, having moved there in the 1980s.
