as a guest of the hotel (separate review) we enjoyed an evening meal in this gastronomic restaurant. we had a nice evening that we did not regret at all, but we left with some mixed feelings. they must choose from 3 menus: a pure...fish based, or a pure sweet based one or a larger devastation menu also w/o meat. we went for the first two w/o know what would be served. all dishes finally served were visually perfect, some were also so tasteful that they were already completely justified by the one Michelin star. especially the desserts and mignardises were on this level. the rest was simply good with excellent ingredients, but not create excitement taste wise. in contrast to eating seemed the...

I was fed by myself, and from the moment I went in, it was positiw. theater on my side. the meal unleashed with drama and humor. small bites came together with our non-alcoholic aperitifs. the attention and the seafood tone. then came a playful game on panna cotta; it was mushroom panna cotta. my main dish. eaten with my palate and eaten more. Thank you can only give a chef in a million such experience, because if everyone could do it, I will grow too fat. there were tips of tart and primordial notes of creamy. every bite was an orchestra of taste sensations. the service was sweet and sincere. we received detailed explanations for each court. I loved it so much. it is worth eating the trip to étretat just here.

Beautiful restaurant with good food. Service is, however, terrible and by terrible I mean the attitude and the arrogance of the waiter. We asked to order a la carte and the waiter said that he didn’t know the prices. We have to ask for water...several times and we had to ask to top up our wine all the time. The cherry on the top of the cake was the bill another more expensive wine was added to the bill. over, it turned out that we paid more for the 3 courses out of 5 course menu than for the whole menu itself. Definately the place to stay away from.

excellent eating, friendly staff and excellent location, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the view and sunset were spectacular.
