On the plus side, Domestic has a nostalgic beer bar atmosphere located near La Puente's historic center. They offer a variety of craft beers on tap and the service is friendly. The restaurant is a good spot for a casual lunch or to host a party. Despite the decent food and atmosphere, there are other options available if you're willing to travel a bit further. If you live in the area and prefer not to drive long distances, Domestic is a decent choice. Overall, I was satisfied with the briskets and beer, but I wouldn't give it a perfect rating. A rating of 4 out of 5 seems appropriate.
By far the best BBQ in a 30 mile radius. The food is amazing, the service is gracious and appreciative. Every time I go the ambiance is always full of life. If you are here for their amazing selection of beers or if you're here to watch a dodger game, the Domestics team welcomes all their customer with open arms. I come here for my birthdays and celebration. This place is a neighborhood staple and the owners are some of the best people I know!!!!!!
Outstanding. The food and service at this restaurant are excellent! They have a fantastic variety of beers and food, all at very reasonable prices. The chef/owner is always present and attentive, showing immense kindness and hospitality. The food is consistently delicious. It's no wonder they opened a second location (congratulations!). This was my first time at this restaurant, and I definitely enjoyed it. The tri-tip was excellent and they have a great selection of beers on tap. The service was friendly as well. Overall, I would give the food and service a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was also enjoyable, receiving a rating of 4 out of 5. I would recommend trying the tri tip dish.
I have to give this place 5 stars because good BBQ joints are hard to find. The food was actually very good. The brisket was so soft and juicy. The bacon Mac and cheese was also delicious. The staff where friendly and broke down the menu. When it's open you'll always see people inside and it goes to show how popular they are. Great vibe and great food.
Most of the regulars at this restaurant are familiar with Darren. It can get expensive, but what about the food quality? I have to mention the atmosphere too. Personally, I enjoy the laid-back feel of the place. It is true that the prices are a bit high, but I used to go there just for a beer and the friendly staff at the door.
